In 1998 Padua Stables built a state of the art training facility located on its farm in Ocala, FL. This facility boasts 4 barns totaling 96 stalls, as well as 20 individual stalls with private 60x60 turn out paddocks. These revolutionary new style of barns were designed by the management team of Padua, with no expense spared when it came to the quality of the care and service provided to the horse. The training center is outfitted with individual covered hot walker and wash racks for each of the 4 barns as well as two round pens and an arena for breaking purposes. The gems of the training center are the ¾ mile dirt track and 1-mile turf gallop, which rivals any track in the country. The main track features aluminum safety rails modeled after those at Churchill Downs, 7 degree banked turns, excellent cushion and superior drainage system, allowing for training almost 365 days a year, even during some of Florida's most inclimate weather. We provide breaking and training of yearlings and two year olds, as well as a complete rehabilitation and lay-up service, including lameness detection and treatment, post-operative care, and resting and treatment of lay-up horses. Shane Tripp has been the the Training Center Manager since 2003 after 13 years of training privately in the Ocala area.

Vindication, Birdstone, Cajun Beat, Yes It's True, Proud Accolade, Proud Citizen, Surfside, High Yield, Exchange Rate, Cash Run, Yonaguska, Katz Me If You Can, Magicalmysterycat, Millencollin, and Dance Master have all come through our training center. We are very proud of the accomplishments of our graduates, and have earned the reputation of sending out horses in top physical and mental condition.
