Padua Stables began in 1997 when Satish and Anne Sanan purchased their first 6 horses at the Keeneland July Yearlings Sale, fulfilling a lifelong dream of Satish's to own and race Thoroughbred horses.

Padua Stables continued to grow in size in 1998 with the addition of a Florida Farm for breaking, training and raising thoroughbreds and the addition of several yearlings and broodmares to their thoroughbred portfolio.

Padua Stables Florida developed into a leading Breeding Racing and Stallion Operation - breaking several Breeder's Cup and Triple Crown winning horses, developing Yes It's True and Exchange Rate as leading Florida stallions and annually being amongst the leading breeders in Florida and the nation by winners and progeny earnings.

In 2008 Padua Stables reorganized it's business plans to focus operations on developing a leading boutique breeding and racing stable.

Subsequently equine operations were move to Lexington, Kentucky. Padua Stables purchased historic Bluegrass Heights farm in Lexington and began renovating the farm to house it's new equine operations.

Padua Stables has campaigned champions Vindication and Curlin, Breeder's Cup Winners Cash Run and Cajun Beat, Grade One winners Any Given Saturday, Majesticperfection, Proud Accolade and Yes It's True and other top horses Odysseus and Quinton's Gold Rush.

The name Padua Stables traces to Anne Sanan's mother's small stable in Liverpool England, where Satish first encountered horses and shortly thereafter developed a lifelong passion for Thoroughbred racing.

Satish Sanan was the Founder, CEO and President of IMR Global and Zavata Healthcare Services.
